Rae Joyce, Indira Neville, Sarah Laing

Rae Joyce, aka Rachel J Fenton, won the AUT Graphic Fiction Prize and was selected for the NZ Book Council Graphic Novelist Exchange Residency, in association with PANZ. Her work has been exhibited at TIBE and published internationally.

Sarah Laing is a novelist, short story writer, graphic designer and cartoonist. Her comics have been published internationally and she is a regular contributor to Metro magazine. Her graphic novel, Mansfield and Me, will be published by VUP in October 2016.
 
Indira Neville makes comics and has done so for most of her life. She self-publishes much of her work via photocopiers, but has also appeared in numerous 'properly published' comics anthologies. Indira is also a mother, musician and policy analyst.

Collectively, Rae, Sarah and Indira are the editors, curators and instigators who sowed the seeds for the Three Words project, culminating in the release of Three Words: An Anthology of NZ/Aotearoa Women's Comics in March 2016.
